This test is recommended for all new patients to establish care with Dr. Benjamin Pettit. Baseline testing is recommended for all adults, regardless of current hearing status. For those with suspected hearing loss and/or tinnitus, it is critical. Diagnostic testing includes Pure tone audiometry, bone conduction audiometry, speech recognition testing, and tympanometry. Dr. Pettit will then personally go over the results of the testing with you. Testing is typically $120, but is currently being offered free of charge.

In addition to a "New Patient Baseline Hearing Test", this includes additional time to discuss hearing aid options. Whether you are looking to purchasing new hearing aids, rental hearing aids, refurbished hearing aids, over-the-counter hearing aids, or you have your own hearing aids that you would like us to evaluate, this appointment will allow us time to evaluate and discuss your options. Testing is typically $120, and consultations are typically $40, but currently these services are being offered free of charge. Prices of different options specific to your situation will be provided to you.

Having 7 kids of his own, Dr. Pettit loves working with kids. Whether it be newborn screenings, wax removal, school screening referrals, or a basic hearing test, Hearken is equipped and ready to help for any and all of your child's hearing needs. $80

Depending on your hearing loss and history, updated tests are recommended every 1 to 5 years. If you have been tested by Hearken Hearing & Audiology in the past, this is an update of your previous testing. Depending on noted shifts in hearing and history, minimal testing can be performed. In other cases, full testing is required. Testing ranges from $40 to $120.

Hearken Hearing & Audiology offers state of the art and cost effective earwax removal solutions. If you have a sudden loss of hearing after putting something in your ear, odds are it is earwax. We can service anyone 3 years of age and older. $30

Hearing aids are highly sophisticated medical devices that require regular maintenance. Deeper cleaning of devices is recommended every 3 months to maximize longevity. Many broken devices can be restored with a state of the art cleaning. Should devices not be restored via cleaning, a price quote will be given for necessary repairs. $30
