Ear Cleaning/Wax Removal
Cerumen (Earwax) Management
This is a 30-minute appointment with a Doctor of Audiology. We can remove earwax using the Earigator irrigation system, suction, or curette tools.
Important notes:
1) If you are on blood thinners or have a condition that makes you prone to bleeding, we may not be able to provide this service.
2) If you do not have a history of ear canal or eardrum injury/disease, we recommend using an over-the-counter wax-softening drop (e.g., Debrox) at least 24 hours before your appointment.
MINIMUM CHARGE: $165, even if no wax is found.
Insurance typically does not cover ear cleaning by an audiologist. We require up-front payment, but can submit to insurance on request.
?? We will call and email to verify your appointment details. Your appointment is not confirmed until you speak with us.
