Hearing Re-Evaluation and Hearing Aid Programming
For patients needing an updated hearing evaluation to monitoring hearing loss and hearing aid prescription, changes in their medical history and/or hearing abilities, additional symptoms, or those that have not had a hearing evaluation in at least 1 year. The service cost is $45 for the diagnostic testing and $105 for the HA Wellness Check and programming (30 Min appt. requirement). If additional tests are required such as an electroacoustic analysis of the hearing aid or real ear measures are performed, additional costs may be incurred. Medicare does not cover routine exams and requires medical necessity and a physician referral to be billed. It is the responsibility of the patient to request the physician order that must be received prior to the appointment. We are out of network with all other insurance. Full payment is due at time of service.

New Patient Diagnostic Hearing Evaluation
This appointment is for individuals requiring a Diagnostic Hearing Evaluation Only without the need to discuss treatment options for hearing loss. The evaluation includes visual inspection of the ear canals, air conduction, bone conduction, and speech testing in quiet only. The cost for this appointment is $85. Additional services such as earwax removal, middle ear measurements (tympanometry), or acoustic reflex testing will be performed as needed with additional fees for those services. Should additional needs be discovered, appropriate referrals or additional services will be recommended. Medicare requires medical necessity and a physician referral to be billed. It is the responsibility of the patient to request the physician order that must be received prior to the appointment. We are out of network with all other insurances. Full payment is due at time of service.

New Patient Hearing Evaluation and Hearing Aid Discussion
This appointment is for individuals requiring a Diagnostic Hearing Evaluation in addition to a Functional Hearing Assessment (FHA). The evaluation includes visual inspection of the ear canals, air conduction, bone conduction, and speech testing in quiet and in noise, hearing inventories, and other determinations that are appropriate to create a Plan of Care for your individual needs. The service cost is $85 for the diagnostics and $100 for the FHA. Additional services such as earwax removal, middle ear measurements (tympanometry), or acoustic reflex testing will be performed as needed with additional fees for those services. Medicare requires medical necessity and a physician referral to be billed. It is the responsibility of the patient to request the physician order that must be received prior to the appointment. We are out of network with all other insurances. Full payment is due at time of service.

For patients that are experiencing trouble connecting their hearing aids to their remote app or problems connecting their hearing aids to their phone.

Ear Impression
This appointment is for individuals needing ear impressions for in-ear monitors, swim plugs, custom headphones, custom earplugs, etc. $105 for 30 minute visit for highly skilled outer ear impressions which includes visual inspection of your ear canals, ear wax removal (if required), and ear impressions. *This does not include the cost of the custom products and prices vary depending on style and model.

Earwax Removal
This appointment is for individuals that only need professional ear wax removal. A 30 minute appointment is $75. *Please note, as this appointment is being held for you, this is the cost of the office visit which will be due at time of service even if earwax build-up is not found.

Hearing Aid Programming-30 Minutes
Critical check-up appointments for proper maintenance of hearing aids. Typically occur every 6 months, more often for some. Includes visual inspection of the ears and any wax removal, hearing aid cleaning and dehumidifying, small parts changes, warranty checks, listening checks, basic programming adjustments, and firmware updates. No cost for patients with a service plan. $105 for those without a service plan. There is an additional charge if advanced hearing aid programming, electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids, or additional services such as real-ear measurements are required.

Hearing Aid Repair
Are you having some trouble with your hearing aids? We’ll take a look at everything and determine what is required to ensure you’re back in business! No charge for appointment if you have a service plan with us. Without a service plan the price varies depending on services required. The minimum charge for a 20 minute appointment is $65 which includes a thorough cleaning and assessment of the device(s). If hearing aid diagnostics are required to ensure the hearing aids are functioning at their manufacturer specifications, this is $45 per device. If parts are required, there may be an additional cost if your devices are out of warranty.

Hearing Aid Wellness Check-20 Minutes

Hearing Aid Discussion
This appointment time is used for additional testing and consultation to develop a personalized Treatment Plan. You must already have a copy of a diagnostic hearing exam performed by an audiologist within the past 90 days. Additional testing will likely be required based on the thoroughness of the intake exam if not performed at our office. The cost is $100 for the consultation.

Tinnitus Evaluation
This appointment is for individuals with chronic tinnitus- ringing, buzzing, humming, etc., in the ears/brain. There is hope! During this appointment we will complete a diagnostic hearing exam and additional tinnitus measurements (as needed). We will be able to discuss your needs and expectations and build the proper management plan for you. Medicare requires medical necessity and a physician referral to be billed. It is the responsibility of the patient to request the physician order that must be received prior to the appointment. We are out of network with all other insurances. Full payment is due at time of service. The cost is $264-$390 including your education and counseling, diagnostic tests (hearing and tinnitus assessment), and initial treatment plan. If other services are required, there are additional costs.
