Hearing Re-Evaluation and Hearing Aid Programming
For patients needing an updated hearing evaluation to monitoring hearing loss and hearing aid prescription, changes in their medical history and/or hearing abilities, additional symptoms, or those that have not had a hearing evaluation in at least 1 year. The service cost is $55-$110 for the diagnostic testing and $50-110 for the HA Wellness Check and programming (45 Min appt. requirement). If additional tests are required such as an electroacoustic analysis of the hearing aid or real ear measures are performed, additional costs may be incurred. Medicare does not cover routine exams. We are out of network with all commercial insurance. Full payment is due at time of service. Appointment totals for this range from $245-$500 depending on services rendered.

Diagnostic Hearing Evaluation
This appointment is for individuals requiring a Diagnostic Hearing Evaluation Only without the need to discuss treatment options for hearing loss. The evaluation includes visual inspection of the ear canals, air conduction thresholds, bone conduction thresholds, and speech testing in quiet only. Additional services such as earwax removal, middle ear measurements (tympanometry), or acoustic reflex testing will be performed as needed with additional fees for those services. We are out of network with all commercial insurances. Full payment is due at time of service. Appointments range from $245-$400 depending on services provided.

Hearing Evaluation and Functional Hearing Assessment
This appointment is for individuals requiring a Diagnostic Hearing Evaluation in addition to a Functional Hearing Assessment (FHA). The evaluation includes visual inspection of the ear canals, air conduction, bone conduction, and speech testing in quiet and in noise, uncomfortable listening levels, hearing inventories, and other testing determinations that are appropriate to create a Plan of Care for your individual needs. Additional services such as earwax removal, middle ear measurements (tympanometry), or acoustic reflex testing will be performed as needed with additional fees for those services. We are out of network with all commercial insurances. Full payment is due at time of service and pricing for appointments range from $245-$450

This appointment is for individuals that only need professional ear wax removal. A 30 minute appointment is $135. *Please note, as this appointment is being held for you, this is the cost of the office visit which will be due at time of service even if earwax build-up is not found.

Hearing Aid Repair
Are you having some trouble with your hearing aids? We’ll take a look at everything and determine what is required to ensure you’re back in business! No charge for appointments if you have a Total Listening Care Plan with us. Without a TLC plan the price varies depending on the services required. The minimum charge for a 20 minute appointment is $85 which includes a thorough cleaning and assessment of the device(s). Repair fees are based on length of time and complexity of repair. If hearing aid diagnostics are required to ensure the hearing aids are functioning at their manufacturer specifications, this is $85 per device. If parts are required, there may be an additional cost if your devices are out of warranty. Typical costs of these appointments range from $85-$150

Hearing Aid Discussion
This appointment time is used for additional testing and consultation to develop a personalized Treatment Plan. You must already have a copy of a diagnostic hearing exam performed by an audiologist within the past 90 days. Additional testing will likely be required based on the thoroughness of the intake exam if not performed at our office. The cost is $135 for the consultation, additional testing will incur charges.

Tinnitus Evaluation
This appointment is for individuals with chronic tinnitus- ringing, buzzing, humming, etc., in the ears/brain. There is hope! During this appointment we will complete a diagnostic hearing exam and additional tinnitus measurements (as needed). We will be able to discuss your needs and expectations and build the proper management plan for you. Medicare requires medical necessity and a physician referral to be billed. It is the responsibility of the patient to request the physician order that must be received prior to the appointment. We are out of network with all other insurances. Full payment is due at time of service. The cost is $264-$550 including your education and counseling, diagnostic tests (hearing and tinnitus assessment), and initial treatment plan. If other services are required, there are additional costs.
