Adult Diagnostic Hearing Test

This comprehensive test helps determine the degree and type of hearing loss. Testing also includes middle ear assessment.

Communication Needs Assessment

A unique treatment plan is developed for your hearing loss and communication needs during this appointment. A hearing test is required prior to this, and must be no older than 6 months.

Earwax Removal

Removal of earwax may be done manually or via irrigation or microsuction. Visit also includes video otoscopy allowing you to visualize inside your ears. ****Please use a wax softening agent that may be purchased over-the-counter for 2-3 nights prior to scheduling this appointment. Apply a few drops before bed and use a cotton block to keep drops in your ear to penetrate ear wax.

Earmold Impressions

Impressions are taken for the purposes of custom hearing protection and earpieces (swim molds, in-ear-monitors, earplugs, etc.).

Hearing Aid Check

This is a follow-up appointment that includes thorough cleaning and a listening check of your devices. Programming adjustments and repairs are completed as needed. This is recommended at least every six months for proper maintenance of devices.

Diagnostic Pediatric Hearing Test

A thorough hearing exam is completed on children 6 months of age and older using a complete test battery, including middle ear assessment.
