This appointment is for current patients who need an annual exam. Annual hearing evaluations as well as annual hearing aid maintenance is recommended in order to get maximum benefit from your hearing devices. Services that may be completed include software updates, cleaning, replacement of parts, and programming adjustments. If a hearing evaluation is recommended for adjustments this can also be completed.

Okay let’s admit it, we have all used Q-tips in our ears even though it says not to. How should we clean our ears then? See for yourself what the inside of your ear canal looks like with our video otoscopy system. If you do have ear wax that needs to be managed, our audiologist is qualified to safely remove it. Please note, we are not able to see young children in our office.

Did you know that loud noise can not only cause hearing loss but also ringing in your ears (tinnitus) and sensitivity to sounds (hyperacusis). Hearing protection is an important step in overall healthy hearing.

Your hearing loss is not one size fits all, so why should your hearing aids be? We work with all major hearing aid manufactures to ensure each person we see has a custom experience. Take our hearing aids home for one week to experience the difference in your everyday life. Please note if you do not have a recent audiogram completed, we will need to complete a hearing evaluation before starting a hearing aid trial. This will add 30 minutes to this appointment. Hearing evaluations can be billed through insurance.

Our Audiologist will complete a comprehensive examination of your hearing system. Our evaluation will also include a free one-week hearing aid trial, should this treatment be recommended. Please note, if you have Medicare or an HMO insurance plan you must have a referral from your primary care physician before your appointment!
